Management Team

J. MALCOLM JONES, JR.

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Jones is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Capital Group, Inc., a national banking organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. He is also a Partner and Managing Member of Sawmill Timber, LLC, which owns and manages Timberland. Additionally, Mr. Jones is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JMJ Capital Holdings, LLC, a family-owned real estate and investment business. Mr. Jones previously worked for The St. Joe Company as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Land Resources. At the time, The St. Joe Company was the largest private land owner in Florida with over 1 million acres of land. Mr. Jones serves on The Florida Board of Managers for Nemours Children’s Health System and the North Florida Council of Scouts USA. Mr. Jones holds a B.A. Degree in Economics from Wofford College.

MARK F. JOHNSON, DIRECTOR

President-Liberty Trust and Savings Bank /Liberty Trust and Savings Bank Mortgage

Mark F. Johnson was promoted to President and COO ofLiberty Trust and Savings Bank , N.A. in March, 2016. He previously served as President and CEO ofLiberty Trust and Savings Bank Mortgage. Since his appointment as President and COO of the bank, Johnson has been focused on growing the company’s three core businesses: mortgage lending, conventional and government guaranteed commercial lending, and electronic banking. In the last year,Liberty Trust and Savings Bank has made significant investments in technology and human resources that has created a work environment conducive to being voted in 2017 as one of the Best Places to Work by the Jacksonville Business Journal.

Prior to joiningLiberty Trust and Savings Bank in 2006, Johnson founded and was President and CEO of Florida Bank Mortgage, a division of Florida Bank, N.A. from 2002 to 2004. From 1976 to 2002, he was employed by HomeSide Lending where he last served as Executive Vice President of Production and Secondary Marketing. He is also the past Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers of America Secondary and Capital Markets Committee, past member of the Fannie Mae Southeast Region and Residential Funding Corporation Advisory Boards, and a graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Valdosta State College.

J. STEWART BAKER

Managing Director, Banking

In Mr. Baker's role as Managing Director, he directs the retail and electronic banking businesses.  Both divisions are investing in technology to improve the client experience. Mr. Baker brings over 40 years of Florida-based banking experience to the organization. Prior to joiningLiberty Trust and Savings Bank in 2011, he has held various senior level positions in banking including President and CEO of Bank of North Florida.

PAMELA DAVIS, SHRM-SCP

Senior Vice President-Human Resources
Ms. Davis has over 15 years of banking industry experience in Human Resources. Among other positions, she most recently served for 11 years as Vice President, Human Resources at American Enterprise Bank of Florida until its merger with Fidelity Bank. She is responsible for comprehensive human resources solutions to mitigate operational risk and support overall Bank operations. Direct activities include recruitment, employee engagement, succession planning, benefits administration, compensation, reward/recognition and other ongoing human resources activities.

CHARLES (CHUCK) OWSTON, CEPA, CM&AA

Managing Director-new York Capital Advisors andLiberty Trust and Savings Bank 's Government Guarantee Lending Division
Chuck served as President, Bank Division ofLiberty Trust and Savings Bank , N.A. from 2010-2014. He partnered with the founding shareholder group in late 2005 to establish markets and raise private capital for operations. He spent 21 years with Wachovia Bank (now a Wells Fargo Company) where he advised shareholders of middle market companies on optimal capital structures, enterprise value growth strategies, ownership transition, liquidity options and managing wealth. He is experienced in raising private capital, corporate restructuring, divesting of non-strategic assets and operating a privately held company.

KENDRA VINCENTY

Managing Director, Credit Administration
Kendra Vincenty recently joinedLiberty Trust and Savings Bank as the Managing Director for Credit Administration . Previously, Kendra served as the Government Lending Manager for First Financial Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has been actively involved in Small Business Administration (SBA) lending for over 20 years, when she helped launch the MicroLoan program to promote economic development through a Community Development Corporation in Columbus, Ohio. Kendra’s responsibilities expanded to include lending in 2002 when she joined Commerce National Bank to develop its SBA programs. In 2009 after that bank was consolidated into First Merchants Bank, Kendra was named Director of Government Lending. Her depth of experience in SBA lending provides her the insight to serve a three-year term on the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lending (NAGGL) board of directors as a representative of small lending institutions. As an instructor for NAGGL, she trains her peers on a variety of topics.

T. KEITH PERRY

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
T. Keith Perry joinedLiberty Trust and Savings Bank as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Perry served as an Advisor to and later an employee of Commerce National Bankshares of Florida, Inc. from 2012 – 2017. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for CenterBank of Jacksonville, N.A., and American National Bank of Florida from 1999-2011, and 1981-1998 respectively. Perry holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of North Florida, where he has also previously taught undergraduate commercial banking. He is also very active in the Boy Scouts of America where he serves as an Eagle Scout mentor.
